Help/FAQ

Have a question?  We recommend checking out the Frequently Asked Questions list below.  If you still have a question after checking out the list, just give us a call at 1-855-477-4675 to speak with a live customer-service representative -- no machines here.

  • What are the benefits of having my library online versus printed manuals?
  • With your resources available online, you’re accessing up-to-date information. You’re also able to access your resources from any computer or mobile device with an Internet connection. With access to the ‘Model Policies & Forms’ resource, you can easily find, save, then edit the sample polices and forms.

  • What happens when something changes?
  • Your resources are updated by their authors when necessary. You will receive an email from [email protected] when updates are made within your resources.

  • Can the HRSimple.com site or service give me specific legal advice?
  • No. However, you may contact the author of your resource for specific legal advice which may require billable time, depending on the nature and complexity of your issue. Otherwise, consult legal counsel. HRSimple staff is more than glad to help you access information discussed in our resources or offer technical support for our site.

  • How do I get to my resources/subscriptions?
  • First, make sure you are logged in. Once logged in, click on ‘Dashboard’ link in the upper left corner to access your resources.

  • What happens after my subscription is over in a year?
  • We do not auto-renew your card or account. When your subscription is close to ending, you’ll receive a notification email from [email protected] asking if you’d like to re-subscribe. Otherwise, you will receive a phone call from one of our sales representatives.

  • What if I want something physical to take with me/look at?
  • You may either save the PDF of your resource on a portable device or print it. See the button on the left side of the page, under the chapter list. If you’re looking for a bound and covered resource, call us at 866-439-2227 where you can order a hardcopy of your Human Resources Manual. Shipping charges apply.

  • How do I gain access to the forms and policies I need for my company?
  • If you have purchased the ‘Model Polices & Forms’ resource, you have access to sample policies and forms that you may download, edit, and print. In ‘Dashboard’, click on ‘Model Policies & Forms for (state) Employers’. Once inside, you will find that chapters containing forms or policies have the files embedded within the text of each chapter.  Currently all forms and policies are hosted on Mircorsoft cloud service "One Source" (aka SkyDrive). Then, click on the small box in the bottom righthand corner of the form or policy. When you click on the menu, you’ll see the options to ‘Download a Copy’ and ‘Print to PDF’. The sample forms and policies download as Word documents.

  • What systems are compatible with the OneDrive (aka SkyDrive) forms?
  • OneDrive (the application we use to store and embed your sample policies and forms into your resource) officially is compatible with the following operating systems:
    • Windows 7, 8, or Windows Vista
    • Mac OS X 10.7 and up, (we have found that 10.6.8 also works)
    • Windows Server 2008 R2
    • The OneDrive desktop app isn't supported on Windows XP or Linux
  • Visit the Windows OneDrive page to find out more information: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/onedrive/system-requirements

  • Can I order employment law posters here?
  • Yes, you can order a six-in-one copy of our federal poster by clicking here. To download state posters, see Appendix B, Poster requirements, in your Model Policies and Forms guide.
