Seldom do workplace issues arise that affect all employees to the extent of, and in such similar ways as, COVID-19. Understandably, the pandemic has led to many employees raising their concerns in ways that are protected by the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA). Some nonunionized employers fail to recognize that the NLRA protects this type of employee conduct, and that oversight could lead to litigation. Likewise, in response to the pandemic, some unionized employers have taken actions that unions have challenged as illegal under the NLRA. During this webinar, the speakers will discuss the potential litigation risks both unionized and nonunionized employers face under the NLRA, as well as tips for minimizing those risks and dealing with any NLRA litigation they are not able to avoid.
