JULIE A. PACE is a Partner at PSGM Law, in Phoenix, Arizona. Ms. Pace's practice is concentrated in the field of OSHA, litigation, and employment law, with particular emphasis in the defense of sexual harassment, employment discrimination, wrongful discharge lawsuits, EEOC and ACRD charges, matters involving OSHA, ICE, OSC, OFCCP, DOL, NLRB, DOT, collective bargaining, wage and hour laws, and conducting harassment and discrimination investigations. She is highly sought after nationally to conduct training in topics such as anti-harassment, anti-discrimination, anti-retaliation, wage and hour, diversity, supervision and more. She teaches in a video entitled, Respect, which won a Telly award. Ms. Pace assists companies with I-9 audits, E-Verify, SSA No-Match issues, immigration compliance strategies, ICE investigations and other government investigations. She also counsels employers on non-compete contracts, confidentiality agreements, employee discipline, drug testing, accommodation of disabled individuals, safety policies, and other human resource policies and procedures. Ms. Pace has handled more than 225 OSHA fatality cases and regularly defends companies who receive OSHA citations. Ms. Pace is a frequent speaker and author on a variety of employment topics. She has been Co-Editor-in-Chief of the third through 20th editions of the Arizona and Federal Employment Law Manual, and first and second editions of the Model Policies and Forms for Arizona Employers, published by the Arizona Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Pace is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. She has served as chair of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce Immigration Committee, as a Judge Pro Tem for the Arizona Court of Appeals, Vice President of the East Valley Partnership, Co-President of the Lorna Lockwood Inn of Court, and was named a Super Lawyer. Additionally, Ms. Pace has served as a Director of the Home Builders Association of Central Arizona and the Construction Financial Management Association. A fourth generation Arizonan, she received her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Arizona State University, where she was also Symposium and Articles Editor of the Arizona State Law Journal. She received her B.S. degree in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Arizona State University. She is a former judicial law clerk to the Honorable Joe W. Contreras of the Arizona State Court of Appeals. Ms. Pace's past honors include the 2008 Arizona Business Journal's Center of Influence Award, as one of the ten most influential lawyers in Arizona, Mesa's 1993 Outstanding Young Woman of the Year Award, the 1994 American Institute of Architects' Rio Salado Community Vision Award, and the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Spirit of Unity Award.
